Microstock Agencies
These are my micro-stock agency portfolios. I partner with these companies to sell the usage rights of my photos and videos. Note: these are affiliate links, I get commissions if you click through and buy or sell media on these marketplaces.
Deposit Photos – Easy to use, quick uploading and high acceptance rates.
Shutter Stock – One of the biggest marketplaces out there.
Dreamstime – Old school agency that’s been around for a long time.
Adobe Stock – This is my favorite stock marketplace, it’s also my most profitable. Microstock buyers can use this promotional link to get 10 images and a one-month trial membership for FREE.
Most Photos – Clean design, easy and quick acceptance rates, based out of Sweden. I’m new to this agency but I like them. Low traffic compared to the big players like Adobe but still worth a look.
Yay Images – Smaller agency, just started working with this one. Unfortunately, I cannot auto-submit with my microstock upload tool here so I have to manually submit my content.
Pond5 – I haven’t actually made any sales with my photos on this one, but from what I’ve read online, video content does really well here. I plan on uploading some video here in the future.
Software/Tools
Xpiks – This is the best freemium microstock upload tool. Note: this doesn’t have a submit feature, only (s)ftp uploads. This is better for people who don’t upload much and prefer to save money by doing the final submission process themselves.
StockSubmitter/Microstock Plus – This is the best paid microstock upload tool, this is what I currently use. It helps automate uploads AND submissions. Both are owned by the same company. Stocksubmitter is the desktop software version, while Microstock Plus is the web-based cloud version.
SmugMug – This is who manages my gallery/store system. I highly recommend them to other photographers looking to display and/or sell their work. Using this affiliate link will give you a discount on your subscription.
